The Golden Rule
If an action could change your computer, your files, your accounts, your money, or your private information: Slow down and ask the assistant what will happen first.
The Sandbox Mindset
For beginners, the safest way to use the assistant is in a "sandbox." Do not casually connect it to your most private or financial accounts.
Do Not Share These in Chat
- Passwords or Private Keys
- Two-Factor (2FA) Codes or Recovery Codes
- Social Security Numbers (SSN)
- Bank Logins or Credit Card Numbers
- Identity Documents (Passport, License)
Actions Needing Approval
The assistant should always ask you for permission before:
- Creating, editing, or deleting files.
- Running commands or installing software.
- Sending messages or posting to social media.
- Making purchases or changing account settings.
When to Call an Expert
The assistant is a helper, not a replacement for professional judgment. Always check with a human expert for:
- Legal, Medical, or Tax decisions.
- Financial investments or business-critical systems.
- Security changes that affect your identity.
